The situation we face right now presents many struggles. For adults, there's the worry of work, finances, health and keeping everyone safe. As worrying and anxious a time as it is for us, it can affect kids in a similar way. They have worries of their own.
Keeping occupied is a good way to limit the time spent worrying and all time spent relaxing is time well spent. With this in mind, if there's a way to help this happen and reinforce the positive things the kids are doing while letting them know we're proud of them at the same time, then this is what we need more of. When kids know we're proud of them for doing the right thing, hopefully they'll want to do it more.
